As a result of having five snow days this winter, McAuliffe is making a couple of adjustments to our spring calendar:

Friday, April 13 will be a full day of school for scholars. It was scheduled to be a professional day with no school for scholars. We have decided it will be better to have school on that day instead of adding an additional day onto our calendar in June. We recognize that some families may have plans already scheduled for April 13 given that it is the day before April break and, therefore, completely understand and expect that some students will be absent. If your child cannot be at school on Friday, April 13, please email your child’s crew leader and attendance@mcauliffecharter.org.  Unfortunately, because Framingham public schools will not be in session on April 13, bussing will not be available. Scholars who typically take the bus will need to be driven to school.

Note: A few years ago we scheduled a day of school without transportation and the majority of scholars were able to attend without issue so we hope that it will be a similar case this year. We’ll be in touch with more specifics about drop-off and pick-up to accommodate the increased traffic through our campus that morning and afternoon.

  1. Eighth Grade Graduation will take place on the evening of Wednesday, June 20, 6pm – 7pm at Natick High School.
  2. Field day and 8th Grade Celebration will take place on Thursday, June 21 — a fantastic volunteer opportunity for parents/guardians!
  3. Our current last day of school is Friday, June 22, 2018. Dismissal will be at 10:45am.

Dates for other spring events are getting solidified and will be communicated in the near future. These include:

  • Spring Culminating Events
  • 8th grade Passages
  • 8th grade Backpacking
