NeilNeil Henderson of Freedom Digital Printing spoke with 8th grade scholars about digital printing and the prepress process. Freedom Digital Printing will be producing the final product for the 8th grade Space Expedition – a collection of magazines about NASA spinoffs and their impact on our daily lives. Each scholar is working in a group to research and write a magazine article about a NASA spinoff. Technologies our students are researching  include Flexible Aerogels, Advanced Polymers, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Advanced Vehicle Design and over 20 other topics.

These magazines will be shared with the community as part of our Christa McAuliffe Remembrance Event which this year, is being held in partnership with The McAuliffe Center at Framingham State University on the 30th anniversary of the Challenger disaster. We hope you will join us on Thursday, January 28, 2016. More details coming soon.
